The Roman column eroded by the wind tells of its past glory, with surface-etched scratches and holes becoming passages for light. The light source radiates upwards from the base, and after being refracted by the irregular depressions on the column, it casts gradient light spots on the ground, resembling the sundial of the ancient Roman square.
